Planning the visit
Tell us your postcode, what has stopped working, when the problem began and whether it affects one fitting, one circuit or several rooms. Mention recent electrical work and any previous findings. Photos of accessible equipment can help explain the enquiry, but do not remove electrical covers to take them.

Common questions
Can I contact you outside normal working hours?
Yes. You can contact us 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Attendance depends on availability and the fault. Confirm the visit and charges directly when you call.
Does a tripping circuit mean I need a new consumer unit?
The cause needs investigation. We discuss the findings and suitable work before recommending a repair or replacement; a symptom alone does not establish which component needs changing.
Can you repair faults found during an EICR?
Ask for a quotation for the remedial work identified in your report. Inspection, further investigation and repairs have separate scopes, which should be agreed before work starts.
Can I include other small electrical jobs?
List them when you enquire. Extra sockets, replacement switches or light fittings can be considered alongside the main job, subject to scope and time.
